“Modern Families: What Educators Need to Know”

Modern Families: What Educators Need to Know is an article at NEA Today that provides some real-life examples of how today’s families might look a little different from years past. I don’t think many teachers will learn anything they didn’t already know (or should know), but it doesn’t hurt to get a reminder.

In a similar vein, the Christian Science Monitor has published Good news for kids: Fathers playing a bigger role in their lives, which reports on a recent survey from the Centers For Disease Control (which, as I’ve previously posted, has been getting more involved in school-related parent engagement).

There seems to be more and more attention being played to fathers, their children and schools….
