The “California Educator” Writes About Parent Universities

The California Educator, bi-monthly magazine of the California Teachers Association, has just published a nice article titled Parent University.

It sounds like the district they write about avoided many of the mistakes so many other districts made by actually asking and listening to what parents wanted to learn, and work with them in building the curriculum.

I can only hope that others learn from their experience instead of just bringing pre-packaged lessons to these parent academies.

I’m adding this info to My Best Posts On Parent “Academies” & “Universities.”
