“When Your Child Doesn’t Want to Go to School”

When Your Child Doesn’t Want to Go to School is from The New York Times and is the first in a series of posts responding to parent questions. Here’s how they describe it:

Last Friday, we introduced New Parent, Old Parent, a feature bringing together readers of Motherlode and Booming to discuss the often humbling challenges of raising children. Our first question was pegged to the new school year: How do you deal with a child who won’t go to school?

We received about 300 responses.

This first post seems interesting, and I’m sure future ones will be equally as good. The feature is written by Michael Winerip who, before changing to this “beat,” was, in my opinion, the best education reporter in the country.
