I’m no big fan of the Common Core Standards, but they are a reality for most of us.

If teachers are ever in situations where they have to explain them to parents, or if there are parents who want to understand more about them, here are some relatively useful resources:

    I so appreciate your posts. I learn a lot from them. I just finished Pink’s “To Sell is Human” – Congratulations on being recognized for the good work you do.

    I found that the Council For Greater City Schools has good Roadmaps for Parents, easy to read, easy to understand. They are at commoncoreworks.org
